Hi! Welcome to The Homemade Harvest, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Kaci. On my blog you’ll find recipes for everything from sourdough bread, homemade jelly, wild game, and irresistible desserts.
I was raised hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors with my family. Those interests have definitely stuck with me, and you’ll see some of that shine through in my recipes.
My current passions include turkey and deer hunting, predator trapping, and gardening. I am a stay at home mom to our two young children whom I homeschool.
I love everything homemade, simple, and old fashioned. Three years ago, I stumbled upon a blog post on how to make your own sourdough starter. I was immediately intrigued and have been baking with sourdough starter since then.
